Something to die from...an obscure reference beyond all obscure references, to be sure.

In an imaginary place, from another mind more intricate than mine, a man died of a surfeit of eels. This always struck me as a completely absurd way to die, yet somehow it was poetic and beautiful. The image seems apropos for our world today, and in particular, our information world of today...
We are in danger of choking ourselves on a surfeit of information.
The fact you are reading this text right now is proof that if you are not yet dead, the universe, in an effort to restore a more sane balance to the cosmos, will eliminate you eventually.
